KCB FC earned a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Mara Sugar in a match defined by an explosive start and a disciplined defensive stand.
The visitors struck almost instantly, with December Kisakah scoring inside the opening minute — one of the fastest goals of the season. The early breakthrough set the tone, forcing Mara Sugar to chase the game from the start.
Mara Sugar pushed for an equalizer and made several changes to strengthen their midfield and attack. Tonny Omondi, David Omondi, and Silas Oningo all came on in the second half as the hosts searched for a way back.
