Vincent Kompany's goal was all Manchester City needed to carry the day with the 3 points and add pressure to the close rival Liverpool after taking on Leicester City with 1-0 defeat in a game that seemed tough on the first 45 minutes

Vincent Kompany scored a rocket to ensure Manchester City moved to within one win of becoming Premier League champions.

Their title bid looked to be faltering, as Leicester held firm in defence for over an hour.

But that was until the City captain unleashed a stunning right-foot strike into the top corner from 30 yards.

Ex-City striker Kelechi Iheanacho had a late chance to grab an equaliser for the Foxes, but could only spurn it wide as City remained on course for the title.
