Liverpool takes the Lead after Manchester City and Arsenal's Lackluster Draw

Liverpool seizes control of the Premier League once more as the points are divided at the Etihad Stadium

In a Premier League showdown at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon, Manchester City and Arsenal settled for a 0-0 draw. Following the narrow 1-0 victory for the north Londoners in October, neither team managed to secure all three points this time around.

Both teams were eager to keep pace with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, who had earlier defeated Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1. Despite their efforts, neither Manchester City nor Arsenal could clinch victory, ending the match with a solitary point each.

The first half of Premier League action was uninspiring, with both Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola surely disappointed by the goalless scoreline at halftime as they aimed to gain an early advantage over their opponents.

Substitutions were made in the 61st minute, with Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku brought on to add spark to Manchester City's gameplay. However, neither winger could alter the course of the crucial league encounter.

Arsenal maintains their position in second place with 65 points, while Guardiola's squad holds onto third place with 64 points. With only nine Premier League matches left for each team, the competition is heating up, leaving everything to play for.
