Newcastle United on Monday appointed Eddie Howe as the English Premier League football club’s senior team manager in the wake of Steve Bruce’s departure last month.
Known for his success with Bournemouth, Howe has been out of work since leaving the Cherries in the summer of 2020.
Since firing Steve Bruce, Newcastle have been looking for a new permanent manager and were heavily linked with Unai Emery, before the Spaniard turned them down.
In the meantime, Graeme Jones has overseen three matches as a caretaker and had two draws and one defeat.
