Liverpool have set up a Champions League semi-final with Spanish giants Barcelona after winning 4-1 on Wednesday night, 6-1 on aggregate.
Porto started on the front foot and troubled Alisson on numerous occasions but it was Sadio Mane who delivered the knockout blow for Liverpool after latching onto Mohamed Salah’s cross to tap home and put the visitors 3-0 ahead on aggregate. Salah added the Reds’ second before Porto pulled a goal back through Eder Gabriel Militao, as he headed home from a corner.
But Roberto Firmino, who came on as a substitute, scored Liverpool’s third of the night at the Estadio do Dragao before Virgil van Dijk put the icing on the cake late on.
