Liverpool’s victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage propelled them level on points with Premier League leaders Arsenal, marking a significant rebound for Jurgen Klopp’s side after recent setbacks. Following their Europa League exit and a home defeat to Crystal Palace, Liverpool displayed determination in their pursuit of league success.

Starting with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s free-kick opener, Liverpool dictated the early proceedings. Fulham responded through Timothy Castagne’s equalizer, but Liverpool regrouped in the second half. Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota emerged as decisive figures, securing all three points for the visitors.

Harvey Elliott, a former Fulham academy player now thriving at Liverpool, showcased resilience amid home crowd scrutiny. His involvement in creating opportunities epitomized Liverpool’s intent. Despite missed chances, notably Luis Diaz’s header, Liverpool persisted and Alexander-Arnold’s set-piece mastery broke the deadlock.

Fulham stirred just before halftime, with Castagne capitalizing on defensive lapses to level the score. However, Liverpool quickly regained control after the break. Gravenberch capitalized on errors, executing a clinical finish to restore Liverpool’s lead.
