Gor Mahia failed to get past stubborn Western Stima at Moi Stadium in Kisumu, eventually settling for a 0-0 draw on Sunday.

K’Ogalo were aiming to bounc back from their 3-3 draw against KCB in their mid-week Kenyan Premier League (KPL) outing, but they had to dig deep against their hosts, who were in good form following their 3-0 win against Mount KenyaUnited in their latest outing.

In another game Sofapaka FC failed to take advantage of Gor Mahia’s slip up in the Kenyan Premier League after throwing away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Tusker FC on Sunday.

The Kenyan champions had dropped points in the race for the title with a 0-0 draw against Western Stima in the early kick-off in Kisumu.

Batoto ba Mungu had fallen 3-2 to the Brewers when they last faced each other in a top tier game in January, and the visitors were aiming to avenge that loss.

Elsewhere Bandari had to settle for a draw 0-0 against Posta Rangers at Kenyatta Stadium in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) on Sunday after missing several clear chances.

Darius Msagha, Benjamin Mosha and Shaban Kenga were particularly wasteful with the chances created by the Dockers.

Felix Ochieng wasted two opportunities for Posta Rangers – one after he fumbled a counter-attack and another in which he was robbed of the ball by Fred Nkata just as he was about to shoot.

The last Match of the day Kariobangi Sharks’ winless run continued on Sunday after they went down 3-0 to Kakamega Homeboyz at Kasarani Stadium in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match.

Goals from Allan Wanga, Peter Thiong’o, and David Okoth were enough to hand Kakamega Homeboyz victory away from home soil. Wanga scored his 16th goal of the season from the penalty spot as he continued his charge towards the KPL Golden Boot title.
