Bayern Munich delivered a statement performance in their 4-0 demolition of Heidenheim, moving nine points clear at the top of the Bundesliga and putting one hand firmly on the title. Goals from Kane, Laimer, Coman, and Kimmich sealed the win as Heidenheim’s relegation fears deepen.

Bayern Munich took a giant leap towards securing the Bundesliga title after a ruthless 4-0 victory over relegation-threatened Heidenheim on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Harry Kane, Konrad Laimer, Kingsley Coman, and Joshua Kimmich sealed the emphatic win for Vincent Kompany’s side, who now sit nine points clear at the top of the table with just four matches remaining.

The visitors wasted no time asserting their dominance. Kane opened the scoring in the 12th minute, latching onto Michael Olise’s precise pass before firing a low left-footed shot into the bottom corner. Just seven minutes later, Laimer made it 2-0 with a composed finish after a superb through-ball from Serge Gnabry.

Coman added Bayern’s third in the 36th minute, capitalising on a rebound after Guerreiro’s initial shot was parried by Kevin Muller. By halftime, Bayern had racked up over 2.2 expected goals and looked firmly in control.

The second half followed a similar script. Kimmich rounded off the scoring in the 56th minute, finishing Guerreiro’s cutback with a calm strike into the bottom right corner.

Bayern’s relentless attack produced 2.95 xG, with further chances falling to Kane, Sane, Olise, and Vidovic—all denied by a busy Heidenheim defense and goalkeeper Muller. On the other end, the hosts managed just 0.67 xG, their best chance falling to Silas Conteh, whose effort was brilliantly saved by Jonas Urbig.

The result moves Bayern nine points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen and firmly on course for their 12th straight Bundesliga title. Heidenheim, however, remain 16th and face the real prospect of relegation, sitting seven points from safety with four games left to play.
