KCB Football Club has restructured its technical team in a bid to reinvigorate performance before the close of the 2024/25 season. Head Coach Patrick Odhiambo, Assistant Coach Jeffer Odongo, and Fitness Trainer Eric Muranda have been suspended with immediate effect.

Goalkeeping Coach Samuel Koko Okoth will step in as interim head coach for the final two league matches against Nairobi City Stars on June 10th and AFC Leopards on June 15th.

We’ve had open and mutual discussions with the coaching staff. The decision to make changes wasn’t easy, but we believe it’s necessary to give the team a fresh push,” said Club Chairman Bramwel Simiyu.

KCB FC currently holds 9th place on the FKF Premier League table with 41 points from 32 matches. Looking ahead, the club aims to build a stronger foundation for future success.

Football remains central to our brand, and we’re committed to long-term success. We want to position ourselves more strongly going forward and have a clear ambition to win the league,” Simiyu added.
