MCF, Kisumu All-Stars, and Darajani Gogo Shine in FKF NSL Saturday

Saturday, 17th May 2025 — The FKF National Super League was alive with action as three thrilling fixtures produced goals, comebacks, and vital points in the race for promotion.

MCF pulled off one of the day’s standout results, rallying from behind to edge Naivas FC 2-1. After a goalless first half, Naivas took the lead in the 58th minute. But MCF responded swiftly — equalizing in the 73rd minute before snatching the winner just a minute later in the 74th. A superb turnaround that sees MCF climb to 41 points.

Kisumu All-Stars also made a strong statement with a commanding 2-0 win over MOFA. Laban Otieno opened the scoring as early as the 7th minute with a superb strike. Mark Kwasira doubled the advantage in the 75th minute, sealing an important victory that pushes Kisumu All-Stars to 46 points on the table.

In another tightly-contested match, Darajani Gogo secured a late 1-0 win against APS Bomet. The deadlock was finally broken in the 83rd minute when Vincent Ombima converted from the penalty spot a decisive goal that keeps Darajani Gogo firmly in the promotion chase.
