Naivas Shine Bright as NSL Weekend Serves Up Goals Galore

Naivas FC stole the spotlight on a lively FKF NSL Saturday matchday, hitting four past Samwest in a commanding performance. Elsewhere, Mombasa Stars, Darajani Gogo, Fortune Sacco, and Assad FC all picked up crucial wins in a day packed with goals, drama, and standout moments.

It was an action-packed day in the National Super League as teams battled for crucial points, with Naivas FC making a bold statement in front of goal.

Naivas FC put up a spectacular show, hammering Samwest Blackboots 4-1. The goals came from Robert Karisa, Markvivan Kesa, Emmanuel Lunalo, and Davies Agesa. After a 1-1 draw in the first half, Naivas turned on the style in the second period to claim a big win.

Meanwhile in Mombasa, Mombasa Stars edged Vihiga United 1-0 thanks to a crucial strike by Okuse B.S. in the 37th minute. It was a tense encounter, with both sides creating chances but failing to convert, leaving the lone goal to decide the tie.

Darajani Gogo FC kept their good form going with a strong 2-0 away win over Mombasa Elite. Veron Ombima was the hero of the day, scoring twice once in the first minute and again deep into first-half stoppage time. A disciplined second half ensured they took all three points.

At Serani Sports Ground, Fortune Sacco bagged a comfortable 2-0 victory against Luanda Villa. Thomas Onah opened the scoring in the 43rd minute, finishing off a pass from Askoe. Mugane Elias sealed the deal in the 85th minute, tapping in Kareno’s cross. Neymar’s dazzling footwork was also a highlight as Fortune Sacco controlled proceedings.

Elsewhere, Assad FC edged Mully Children’s Family (MCF) 1-0 in a closely fought battle at the Ukunda Show Ground. Rashid Mwabora grabbed the all-important goal to secure the win.
