Scotland boss Steve Clarke stated that following his departure in the first half of the 1-0 defeat, Robertson will head to Liverpool for medical assessment.

Moments before Conor Bradley, Robertson's fellow Liverpool teammate, secured the sole goal of the game at Hampden, Robertson endeavored to persist but ultimately had to be substituted.

The left-back has encountered injury setbacks earlier in the season. Robertson, the Scottish defender, spent three months sidelined due to a shoulder injury.

With the Euros looming just eleven weeks away and Liverpool entering a crucial phase under Jurgen Klopp, Robertson appeared disheartened as he was substituted off against Northern Ireland.

Klopp has grappled with the challenge of key players enduring injuries this season, with Mo Salah, Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Joel Matip all sidelined due to fitness concerns.

Despite contending with a squad plagued by injuries throughout the season, Klopp's team has shown resilience thus far.

Their first Premier League fixture upon return sees the Reds facing Brighton on Sunday, while later in the afternoon, championship contenders Manchester City take on Arsenal.
