Just one minute later, Wainaina turned from provider to scorer, beating the Police backline and burying the equaliser to complete a dramatic two-minute comeback.
With the score level at 2–2, the match opened up completely. Police pushed forward in search of a winner, while Bidco threatened on the counter, turning the final stretch into a frantic end-to-end battle. Both teams created chances, both pressed for the knockout blow, and both dug deep as fatigue set in.
With the clock ticking into stoppage time, Exaule Misuri introduced to inject fresh legs found himself in the right place at the right moment. After a scramble in the box, he calmly slotted home the match-winner, breaking Bidco’s resolve and sparking celebrations among the Police players. It was a dagger to the heart of a Bidco side that had shown remarkable resilience to claw their way back.
The victory lifts Kenyan Police to third on the table with 17 points, just two behind leaders Gor Mahia. Bidco United stay fifth with 13 points, their brave fight ultimately falling short.
