Midfielder Charles Ouma has been suspended from playing competitive football in Kenya until the end of 2027 following violation of the whereabouts requirements by the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK).

On 23rd December 2025, the South Sudan international was provisionally suspended by ADAK for multiple whereabouts failures.

Now the Sports Disputes Tribunal has upheld the sanctions, Ouma is barred from football for the rest of 2026 and for 2027.

Selected athletes must provide truthful information on their location to make it possible for them to be tested out-of-competition as per anti-doping rules.

The suspension comes as a huge blow to Ouma who was voted Kenya Police FC's Midfielder of the Year for the 2025-26 campaign.

The club will also be missing one of their top midfielders in Kenya Police's absence, which will be a major setback for them as they head into the new season.

Ouma will be able to play football again only after he or she has served the entire suspension.
