The window opened on June 21 and will close on August 21, 2026, giving clubs three more weeks to complete registrations, release players and finalise negotiations with their remaining targets.

Gor Mahia have been among the most active clubs after completing the signings of Daniel Sakari and David Okoth from Kenya Police, Paul Okoth from Ulinzi Stars and Lesley Otieno and Enock Machaka from Nairobi United.

The record Kenyan champions have also brought in Michael Onyango from Equity Bank, Hansel Ochieng from APS Bomet, former AFC Leopards goalkeeper Humphrey Katasi and Ghanaian defender Ebenezer Ocran.

Paul Okoth has already made an immediate impact by scoring Gor Mahia’s winning goal against Garde Republicaine in the CECAFA Kagame Cup.

K’Ogalo’s recruitment has been accompanied by a major clear-out. Enock Morrison has moved to Sudanese side Al-Merrikh, while Mark Shaban has joined Posta Rangers on loan.

Philemon Otieno, Ernest Wendo, Gad Mathews, Fidel Origa, Levin Odhiambo, Geoffrey Ochieng, Chris Ochieng, Bryson Wangai and Elly Owande are also among the players reported to have left the club.

AFC Leopards have strengthened their midfield with the signing of Uganda international Taddeo Lwanga from Vipers SC.

Ingwe have also completed deals for former Mara Sugar defender Robinson Musungu, Eric Balecho and Sebastian Wekesa as they seek to build a squad capable of challenging for trophies.

The club are reportedly interested in Kariobangi Sharks captain Kevin Otiala, Gambian striker Musa Ceesay and Ugandan goalkeeper Tom Ikara.

Former defender Vincent Mahiga has also been linked with a return, while Kenya Police full-back Geoffrey Onyango had attracted interest before completing a move to Nairobi United.

Mfalme FC striker Arok Payai is another player who has been monitored by Leopards after scoring 25 goals last season.

Victor Omune and Ken Owino have left following the expiry of their contracts, while goalkeeper Humphrey Katasi joined Gor Mahia.

Rami Lasso Coulibaly, Christopher Koloti and Brian Wanyama are also among the players who have departed the Den.

Kenya Police have so far confirmed the arrival of Brian Mzee from Nairobi United.

The reigning domestic heavyweights are also reported to be considering a move to bring striker Elvis Rupia back to the club following his spell in Tanzania.

Kakamega Homeboyz defender Oliver Majaka and Murang’a Seal winger Victor Haki have been linked with Police, while Malian striker Kalifa Traore of Rwanda’s Gorilla FC is also understood to be a target.

Attacking midfielder Rial Beliew and Tusker goalkeeper Pavel Ndzila have also been mentioned among the club’s possible recruits.

Yves Koutiama’s proposed move to Tanzanian champions Young Africans is reported to have collapsed, potentially keeping the forward at Police.

David “Messi” Owino and Brian Musa have been linked with Nairobi United, although their moves are yet to be officially confirmed.

Police have already lost Abud Omar to Tusker, while defender David “Cheche” Ochieng has also left. Marvin Nabwire has moved to Zambian club Power Dynamos.

Newly promoted Nairobi United have made some of the biggest statements of the transfer window.

The Naibois have completed the signing of Congo international Harvy Ossete from Libyan side Al-Dhahra SC.

Ossete arrived in Nairobi after choosing a move to Kenya despite attracting interest from several clubs across the region.

The experienced defensive midfielder has earned more than 20 appearances for Congo and previously represented Diables Noirs and DR Congo giants St-Eloi Lupopo.

Nairobi United have also signed Kenyan international striker John Avire, strengthening their attack ahead of their first season in the top flight.

Left-back Geoffrey Onyango has joined from Kenya Police, while Wycliffe Omondi arrived from Shabana.

Kevin “Chumsy” Okumu and experienced goalkeeper Faruk Shikalo are also confirmed Nairobi United players.

The club remain linked with former Gor Mahia goalkeeper Gad Mathews, Sammy Okinda, David “Messi” Owino and Brian Musa.

Mark Kithome of 3K FC has reportedly agreed terms with Nairobi United, while versatile player Joseph Bate has also been linked with a move to the club.

Duncan Omala could leave after attracting interest from rival teams.

Nairobi United have already seen Daniel Bichiok join Shabana, Brian Mzee move to Kenya Police and Enock Machaka sign for Gor Mahia.

Majaliwa Charo has also left Nairobi United and completed a move to Murang’a Seal.

Shabana have continued rebuilding their squad after confirming several new arrivals.

Lazarazu Bixente has joined from Posta Rangers, while Sigmunn Maina Irungu has arrived from Swedish side AIK Framtid FK.

Daniel Bichiok has moved from Nairobi United, with Luis Ingavi and Pavelh Ndzila also included among the club’s new players.

Dennis Wanjala has joined Tore Bobe from Tusker following the expiry of his contract with the Brewers.

KCB have reinforced their squad with the arrivals of Jimmy Owili from Mara Sugar, former Gor Mahia midfielder Fidel Origa and Frank Nduwimana.

The Bankers have also signed striker Batshi Assis Mambote from Shabana and added Geoffrey Ojunga to their squad.

KCB are reportedly leading the race for Mathare United player Brian Ouru and have also monitored Majaliwa Charo, Geoffrey Onyango and Christopher Koloti.

Charo has since joined Murang’a Seal, while Onyango completed his move to Nairobi United.

South African Premier Division side Marumo Gallants have expressed interest in signing versatile KCB forward Kelvin Etemesi.

The former Nairobi City Stars player could become one of the latest Kenyan footballers to secure a move abroad should negotiations progress.

Boniphas Munyasa, Boniface Omondi, Tedja Wanumbi, Yafeesi Mubiru, Fadhil Masoud Mwanyimvua, Francis Kahiro, Francis Kahata, December Kisaka, Clyde Senaji and Nashon Alembi have all been linked with departures from KCB.

Rodgers Oporia Angal has already left after reaching the end of his contract, while Alembi completed a move to Murang’a Seal.

Murang’a Seal have signed Nashon Alembi from KCB and Malvin Nderitu from Fortune Sacco.

The club have also completed the capture of Majaliwa Charo from Nairobi United.

Joe Waithira has moved to Jamus SC in South Sudan, while Erick Ongiri, Victor Haki, Francis Memusi and Robby Mangi are among those reported to have left Murang’a Seal.

Tusker have strengthened heavily following a disappointing previous campaign.

The Brewers signed Nigerian forward Victor Mbaoma from Remo Stars, while experienced defender Abud Omar joined from Kenya Police.

Warsama Hassan, Collins Ochieng, Abdoulie Joof, Telena Ochieng, Steve Omondi and Aboubacar Doumbia have also joined the Ruaraka-based club.

Tusker are reportedly close to completing a deal for Congolese goalkeeper Perrauld Ndinga.

Christopher Koloti, AFC Leopards midfielder Musa Oundo, winger Hassan Beja and Migori Youth striker Syphas Otieno have also been linked with moves to the Brewers.

Charles Momanyi has left Tusker, while Dennis Wanjala completed his transfer to Shabana.

APS Bomet are looking to strengthen following their promotion to the Premier League.

The club have been linked with prolific Mfalme FC striker Arok Payai, who is also attracting interest from AFC Leopards, Bandari and 3K FC.

Defender Edward Masembe is another player being monitored, with Kakamega Homeboyz and Kenya Police also reportedly interested.

With the deadline approaching, clubs are expected to intensify negotiations as coaches assess their squads and identify the final additions required for the 2026-27 campaign.

Several reported deals remain subject to contracts, medical examinations and official announcements, meaning the league’s transfer picture could change significantly before the window closes on August 21.
