LaLiga served up a double helping of drama on Saturday night, with Celta Vigo clinching a nail-biting 3-2 win over Sevilla, while Atletico Madrid’s Alexander Sørloth delivered a first-half masterclass with four goals against Real Sociedad.

Celta Vigo opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Ilaix Moriba tucked a composed finish into the bottom corner, assisted by Williot Swedberg. The game turned fiery just before halftime, with Marcos Alonso sent off for a reckless challenge in the 45th+6 minute. Sevilla took advantage and equalized moments later as Nemanja Gudelj calmly slotted home a penalty.
The second half was chaos. Óscar Mingueza restored Celta’s lead in the 65th minute with a close-range finish, before Borja Iglesias made it 3-1 in stoppage time, seemingly sealing the result. But Sevilla weren’t done yet — Kike Salas pulled one back in the 90+8 minute, setting up a tense finale, though Celta held on for a crucial win.
Atletico Madrid 4-0 Real Sociedad: The Sorloth Show
Over at the Metropolitano, it was the Alexander Sørloth show. The Norwegian striker bagged four goals inside 30 minutes, a rare feat in top-flight football.

10’ He doubled the lead with a low drive after a quick break, assisted by Samuel Lino.
11’ Just a minute later, Sørloth completed a stunning hat-trick with a curling effort into the top corner.
