Kenya Police Bullets sealed back-to-back FKF Women’s Premier League titles with a commanding 4-0 win over Trinity Starlets, closing out a tense season finale that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

The 2024/25 FKF Women Premier League season delivered a dramatic finish on Sunday, May 25, as Kenya Police Bullets successfully defended their crown with a convincing 4-0 victory over Trinity Starlets at Afraha Stadium, Nakuru.

Coming into the final round just two points ahead of Ulinzi Starlets, the Bullets knew only a win would guarantee them the title — and they delivered in style.

Coach Beldine Odemba’s side showcased the resilience and sharpness that’s defined their campaign, ending the season on 46 points from 21 matches, with 13 wins, 7 draws, and just a single loss.

Striker Rebecca Okwaro was the standout performer on the day, playing a hand in all four goals. She set up Emily Moranga for the opener just before halftime, then contributed to a Trinity own goal early in the second half. Okwaro wasn’t done yet — adding two goals of her own in the 68th and 85th minutes to seal the result and secure her Golden Boot award with 16 goals this season.

Meanwhile, Ulinzi Starlets did their part with a 4-0 victory over Kisumu All Starlets at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi, but it wasn’t enough to overtake the Bullets. They finish a hard-fought campaign in second place with 44 points.

The title race had taken a dramatic twist midweek when Ulinzi won an appeal regarding player eligibility, narrowing the gap at the top and setting up a nerve-wracking final day.

Elsewhere, Kibera Soccer Women wrapped up third place with a win against relegated Mombasa Olympic, while Kisped Queens edged Vihiga Queens in a mid-table clash at Moi Stadium, Kisumu. Already relegated Bunyore Starlets closed their season with a defeat to Bungoma Queens.

With their league triumph, Kenya Police Bullets now turn their attention to the CAF Women’s Champions League regional qualifiers in August, where they’ll aim to test themselves against the best in the region.

For fans and players alike, it was a season of passion, fierce competition, and memorable moments — and the final day delivered exactly the kind of high-stakes drama the beautiful game is known for.
