Kylian Mbappe’s Hat-Trick Led PSG to Dominant 6-2 Victory over Montpellier
In the 22nd minute, Mbappe struck first, adding two more goals in the second half. His third goal, a half-volley after a remarkable run, marked his 250th goal for PSG since his arrival in August 2017, solidifying his position as the league’s top scorer with 24 goals this season.
Vitinha, Lee Kang-in, and Nuno Mendes also found the net for PSG, securing their first league victory in four games after draws with Reims, Monaco, and Rennes.
Despite Montpellier’s comeback to tie 2-2 at halftime with goals from Arnaud Nordin and Teji Savanier’s penalty, they couldn’t keep up with PSG’s speed and skill in the second half.
With eight matches remaining, PSG leads with 59 points, followed by Brest with 47 and Monaco with 46.
