In a thrilling encounter at Dandora Stadium on Saturday, May 11, 2024, Kariobangi Sharks showcased their attacking prowess with a resounding 5-2 win over Sofapaka in the FKF Premier League.

The standout performer of the match was John Mark Makwata, who delivered a stellar performance by netting an impressive four goals. Makwata set the tone early with two first-half goals in the 1st and 31st minutes, providing Sharks with a commanding lead.

Stephen Bwire extended Sharks' advantage with a goal in the 28th minute, further solidifying their dominance. Although Sofapaka managed to pull one back through Onyango Jacob, Kariobangi Sharks ended the first half with a comfortable 3-1 lead.

The second half saw Darius Msagha find the net for Sofapaka, momentarily narrowing the gap. However, Makwata continued his scoring spree with two more goals in the 63rd and 84th minutes, securing a comprehensive victory for Kariobangi Sharks.

In other fixtures of the day, Gor Mahia secured a narrow 1-0 win over Shabana, courtesy of a goal from Benson Omalla in the 35th minute. Meanwhile, Bidco United and Kakamega Homeboyz battled to a 2-2 draw at Dandora Stadium.

Elsewhere, Bandari and Ulinzi Stars settled for a goalless draw against Posta Rangers and Muhoroni Youth, respectively, while Nzoia Sugar and KCB played out a 1-1 stalemate.

Gor Mahia maintains their position at the top of the FKF PL standings with 63 points, while Kenya Police FC and Tusker are yet to play their round 29 matches. The action-packed weekend in the FKF PL continues tomorrow, Sunday, May 12, 2024.
