KCB hold Gor Mahia, Bandari wins at Bukhungu

KCB missed a chance to go to the summit after playing to a barren draw against defending Champions Gor Mahia at Thika stadium.

The draw left KCB with regrets as their hopes of clinching the title dealt a blow – meaning, Tusker still top the standing with 58 points from 29 matches played same as KCB who are second on goal difference.

The draw places Gor Mahia sixth on the log with 44 points having played 28 matches.

At Bukhungu Stadium, Bandari came from a goal down to beat Kakamega Homeboyz 2-1.

David Odhiambo gave the hosts the lead after just 18 minutes but were pegged back by Johanna Mwita’s strike two minutes after the restart.

Umar Kasumba then got the winner fo the Mombasa-based club eight minutes from time for their second successive win.
