It's been 11 years coming, but Inter Milan clinched its first Serie A title in over a decade on Sunday after Atalanta failed to win at Sassuolo.

On Saturday, goals from Christian Eriksen and Achraf Hakimi secured a 2-0 win for Inter over Crotone, a victory that moved Antonio Conte's 14 points clear of Atalanta on Saturday.
Atalanta's 1-1 draw Sassuolo ensured Inter wrapped up the title with four games of the season to play, its Scudetto success breaking Juventus' Serie A stranglehold.

Inter are 13 points clear in first place with four games remaining, and their triumph ends a run of nine consecutive title wins for Juventus.

This year's league success marks their 19th Serie A crown and is their first since winning the Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League Treble in 2009-2010 under Jose Mourinho.
