Malen Hat-trick Powers Roma to Comfortable Win Over Pisa
- AS Roma cruised to a dominant 3-0 victory over Pisa SC at the Stadio Olimpico, with Donyell Malen scoring a clinical hat-trick in Serie A action.
AS Roma delivered an emphatic performance to defeat Pisa SC 3-0 in their Serie A Round 32 clash on Friday night.
The hosts made a dream start, taking the lead just three minutes into the match through Donyell Malen, who finished confidently after a swift counter-attack. Roma maintained control for much of the first half, and Malen doubled the advantage in the 43rd minute with a close-range finish following good build-up play.
Despite some resistance from Pisa, including efforts from Mattéo Tramoni and Stefano Moreo, Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar remained solid between the posts to preserve the clean sheet.
The second half saw Roma continue their dominance, and Malen completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute, calmly slotting home after being played through by Matías Soulé.
Roma managed the game effectively thereafter, limiting Pisa to long-range efforts and half-chances, while also rotating their squad with several substitutions as the match progressed.
The result strengthens Roma’s position in the league standings and provides a confidence boost as they approach the final stretch of the season.
For Pisa, the defeat highlights ongoing struggles in both defence and attack, as they failed to capitalize on their limited opportunities.
