Pinto leaves Gor Mahia just six days after leading the club to the FKF Cup glory | Gor Mahia

Gor Mahia head coach, Manuel Pinto has parted ways with the football club.

In a statement by the club, the Kenya Federation Premier League champions coach left the club on mutual consent.

Pinto’s exit comes about six months after he joined the club.

The Portuguese tactician is said to have left the country on Thursday, just days after he led the club to clinching the Betway Cup, in a match that saw them battle it out with their arch-rivals, AFC Leopards.

Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo who was Pinto’s assistant will take charge at the club. Omollo was in charge of Gor during their CAF Champions League preliminary matches when the coach then Oliveira Goncalves was barred from leading the team due to his papers.
