Goalkeeper Samantha Akinyi clarifies rumours going round said against her in a post from Artstanding Digital Media that she refused the National team call up.

According to Artstanding Digital Media Samantha Akinyi turned down Harambee Starlets call up, according to her coach at the club level.

I would like to take this chance to categorically state that contrary to the information going round that i rejected the Kenya Women National Team Call up i would like to clarify with no fear that i did not receive any formal communication from the football governing body FKF or any one else in regards to national team matters

Samantha Akinyi also stated

No one can reject something that has not been offered.. so whoever started this rumours should seize from using my name to cover their mediocre decisions
