Vihiga Queens kick off CAF Women Champions League campaign against South Africa | Football

Vihiga Queens will kick off their quest for continental glory on Saturday, November 6, 2021, when they face South Africa Mamelodi Sundowns in their opening match of the inaugural CAF Women Champions League.

They won the CAF Women Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers after edging Ethiopia’s CBE FC 2-1 in the finals.

Vihiga Queens have been pooled in Group B alongside South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, Morocco’s ASFAR Club, and Nigeria’s Rivers Angels.

Group A is made up of Egypt’s Wadi Degla, Mali’s AS Mande, Equitorial Guinea’s Malabo King FC,  and Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies.
