Wazito, Kisumu All-Stars promoted to the Kenyan Premier League | National Super League
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Wazito thrashed St Joseph’s Youth 7-1 at Nairobi’s Camp Toyoyo grounds to be crowned the National Super League champions with Kisumu All Stars replicating the same score over already relegated Thika United at the Thika Sub County Stadium.

The two sides will now feature in the next season’s Kenya Premier League, taking up the places of Mount Kenya United and Vihiga United who were relegated from the top-flight.

Nairobi Stima who overcame Eldoret Youth 4-2 will now come up against Posta Rangers in the KPL/NSL playoff to see who completes the KPL roster of the 2019 season.

All-Stars entrance to the NSL was more of a lucky move after the side bought Palos FC place in Kenya’s second tier after the latter had opted out due to financial challenges.

They will hope that they don’t go down just like the original Kisumu All-Stars did in 2010 when they were relegated from the topflight; the team has had a good financial support from the Kisumu County Government.

All-Stars will join neighbors Western Stima to make the number of teams from Kisumu in the Kenyan top flight to two.
