Born on 10 January 1961 and age 58 in Birmingham, England Steven George is an English football manager and former footballer who also holds a Finnish citizenship. Polack was most recently the head coach of Asante Kotoko.


Polack played 13 seasons and 301 caps for RoPS Rovaniemi and FC Inter in the Finnish premier division Veikkausliiga from 1984 to 1994 and 1996–1997. He is one of the most legendary players of RoPS.

Steven Polack arrived in Finland in 1984. He represented the Rovaniemi Palloseura through 11, winning the Finnish Cup and two Finnish Championships. Polack made another RoPS goal in the Cup final in 1986 when RoPS defeated Kemi Ball Club 2-0. Polack played 301 matches and scored 31 goals in the Finnish Main League.

Polack, who gained a reputation as a player legend in Rovaniemi, moved to FC Inter Turku in 1995 and celebrated his promotion to the Veikkausliiga at the end of the season. Three years later, Polack lifted FC Inter as a player coach to the league level. In a decisive match in 1998, FC Inter defeated KPT-85 2-1 in Kemi.

Polack coached FC KTP as the No. 2 coach in the Veikkausliiga 2013-15. Polack has also coached FC KooPeeTea 2003 in the league and in Vikings, AC Oulu and Kokkola Ball Tracks in Ykkönen. Overseas, After his professional career Polack has been coaching several clubs in Finland as well as King Faisal and Berekum Chelsea in Ghana.
