Manchester City maintained their title pursuit with a 4-2 win at Crystal Palace, as Kevin de Bruyne notched his 100th goal for the club.

There were uncertainties over whether De Bruyne or Erling Haaland would start the lunchtime match at Selhurst Park. The hosts quickly went ahead through Jean-Philippe Mateta, but De Bruyne swiftly equalized.

Rico Lewis then secured City's first lead shortly after halftime with his second Premier League goal. De Bruyne later assisted Haaland for City's third goal.

De Bruyne then scored his 100th goal for City with a brilliant solo effort in the 70th minute.

Palace substitute Odsonne Edouard pulled one back late in the game, but despite Manchester City's efforts to increase their goal tally, they couldn't find a fifth goal during seven minutes of stoppage time in the second half.

Having all but secured safety, the focus for Palace now shifts to how they might influence the title race.

Both Arsenal and City will be monitoring Palace closely, especially as they face Liverpool in their upcoming away fixture next weekend.
