Record Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia have launched a new fan-driven initiative aimed at helping the club raise support for its continental campaign.

The initiative, dubbed Wallcover K'Ogalo Edition, was unveiled by club sponsors Kansai Plascon Kenya as part of Gor Mahia’s wider push towards long-term financial sustainability.

Through the campaign, Kansai Plascon Kenya will dedicate a percentage of proceeds from every sale of the limited-edition Plascon Trade Wall Cover Emulsion – K'Ogalo Edition to support Gor Mahia’s participation in the CAF Champions League.

Gor Mahia reclaimed the FKF Premier League title last season and will represent Kenya in the CAF Champions League, with the preliminary round expected to kick off in September.

The initiative gives supporters a direct role in the club’s continental journey. Every fan who purchases the special K'Ogalo Edition product will contribute towards the team’s preparations and participation on the African stage.

The campaign also marks a fresh approach to sports sponsorship in Kenya, moving beyond traditional branding and shirt partnerships by creating a product that connects fans, business and football ambition.

The limited-edition package has been designed to celebrate Gor Mahia’s 2025–2026 league-winning season. It carries the club’s iconic identity, championship-inspired graphics and visual elements linked to one of Kenya’s most decorated football institutions.

Speaking during the unveiling, Kansai Plascon Kenya Managing Director Enami Kota said the partnership with Gor Mahia was built on more than sponsorship.

“Our partnership with Gor Mahia has always been about more than sponsorship. It is about investing in a legacy that inspires millions of Kenyans,” Kota said.

“This initiative allows supporters to celebrate the club’s achievements while directly contributing towards its future as the team prepares to fly the Kenyan flag in the CAF Championship. We believe corporate partnerships should create meaningful impact beyond branding.”

Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier welcomed the initiative, saying it reflects the kind of collaboration modern football needs.

“This partnership reflects what modern football requires — long-term collaboration built on shared ambition. Kansai Plascon has stood with us as partners, and this latest initiative demonstrates a genuine commitment to supporting the club beyond the football pitch,” Rachier said.

“Every supporter who purchases the K'Ogalo Edition becomes part of our journey as we prepare to compete on the continental stage.”

The campaign is anchored on the theme “Champions on the Pitch. Champions in Every Home.” It celebrates Gor Mahia’s success, while also highlighting the role of partnerships, community pride and football’s ability to unite supporters across the country.

For Gor Mahia, the timing is important. The club is seeking to turn domestic dominance into stronger continental performances, an ambition that has long remained a major target for K'Ogalo and their supporters.

Before their CAF Champions League campaign begins, Gor Mahia are in Kigali, Rwanda, for the 2026 CECAFA Club Championship, which runs from July 24 to August 7.

K'Ogalo have been drawn in Group A alongside hosts APR FC of Rwanda, Uganda’s Vipers SC and Garde Républicaine of Djibouti.

The Wallcover K'Ogalo Edition now gives fans another way to rally behind the team as Gor Mahia prepare for a demanding regional and continental schedule.
