Harambee Starlets powered into the third round of the 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers after another ruthless 11-0 victory over Seychelles at Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi on Monday.
Kenya matched their first-leg winning margin to complete a commanding 22-0 aggregate triumph, with returning striker Jentrix Shikangwa leading the scoring with a hat-trick.
Head coach Godfrey 'Solo' Oduor made major changes to the side that had won the first leg by the same scoreline on October 8, giving opportunities to several members of his squad, including foreign-based players Shikangwa and Corazone Aquino.
The changes did little to disrupt Kenya's dominance as Sylvia Makungu opened the scoring in the sixth minute.
Violet Nanjala doubled the advantage six minutes later before Shikangwa announced her return to the national team with goals in the 17th and 20th minutes.
Vivian Nasaka added Kenya's fifth in the 31st minute after another strong attacking contribution from the full-back, sending Starlets into the break with a 5-0 advantage.
Kenya resumed their assault shortly after half-time, with captain Mwanalima Adam scoring from inside the penalty area in the 48th minute.
Shikangwa completed her hat-trick in the 66th minute after meeting a Nasaka cutback and finishing from inside the box.
Adam struck again in the 79th minute, beating Seychelles goalkeeper Tinisha Come with an effort from the left to increase Kenya's lead to 8-0.
Fasila 'Kamama' Adhiambo joined the scorers in the 85th minute with a long-range effort as Seychelles continued to struggle against Kenya's relentless pressure.
Substitute Marion Serenge then won and converted a penalty to take the score into double figures before adding another goal late on to complete the 11-0 rout.
The emphatic result continued an impressive start for Oduor, who has overseen two dominant victories in his first two matches in charge of the national side.
Kenya will now face the winner of the qualifier between Malawi and Zimbabwe in the third round, scheduled to be played between February 23 and March 6, 2027.
The tie will represent a considerably tougher test for Starlets as they continue their pursuit of a place at the 2028 Olympic Games.
