Striker Pistone Mutamba has rejoined Wazito FC from 2009 Kenyan Premier League side Sofapaka FC for an undisclosed period.

Mutamba joined Sofapaka in June 2018 from Wazito at a time when he had featured for the national team and his return is a boost for a team who are out to look for players with the Kenyan Premier League experience.

In the last season, he had stiff competition from Stephen Waruru, John Avire and Kepha Aswani with the club roping in Ronald Okoth midway through the season to help boost their strikeforce.

Joins

He joins keepers Kevin Okoth and Gad Mathews and attacked Derrick Otanga as the new confirmed faces at the club; Okoth and Otanga having been roped from Sony with Gad joining from Kariobangi Sharks.

Meanwhile, the KPL newbies are said to be interested in acquiring the services of striker Elvis Rupia from Zambian side Power Dynamos. Before leaving for Zambia in July 2018, Rupia was in the books of Nzoia Sugar FC.

The team, according to reports, is expected to part ways with Eugene Ambulwa, Kennedy Ayako, Oliver Kilonzo and Kassim Mwinyi.
