The Premier League served up drama across multiple venues as Chelsea, Crystal Palace, and Bournemouth took center stage in a weekend filled with tight finishes, superb goals, and standout individual performances.

Chelsea moved to within three points of league leaders Arsenal after a 2–0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor. Despite not being at their attacking best, Enzo Maresca’s side controlled key moments and extended their strong run of form.

The Blues opened the scoring in the 37th minute when Jamie Gittens delivered a superb cross to the far post, where Pedro Neto met it with a precise header into the bottom corner. Burnley threatened early, but crucial blocks from Chalobah and Tosin kept the hosts at bay.

Chelsea dominated the second half but missed several chances before finally sealing the result. Substitute Marc Guiu powered past Axel Tuanzebe before squaring to Enzo Fernández, who smashed home from close range to make it 2–0 in the 88th minute.

The victory means Chelsea have now won five of their last six league matches, including three straight clean-sheet wins for the first time since 2022. They now prepare for huge back-to-back home clashes against Barcelona and Arsenal.

Burnley, meanwhile, missed a string of chances and will head to London to face Brentford next weekend.

Crystal Palace Strike Twice to Beat Wolves at Molineux

Crystal Palace earned a hard-fought 2–0 victory away to Wolves, climbing into the Premier League top four — at least provisionally.

After a cagey first half, Palace broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute. A recycled corner fell to Daniel Muñoz inside the box, and the full-back smashed a left-footed strike into the roof of the net. A VAR check confirmed the goal.

Just six minutes later, Yeremy Pino produced a stunning long-range strike, curling his effort into the top-right corner via the crossbar a goal-of-the-month contender.

Wolves created two big chances, including a free-kick scramble in the first half and a late opportunity for Arias, but Palace’s compact defending earned them the clean sheet.

It was a disciplined display from Oliver Glasner’s side, who continue to be among the season’s most organized and efficient teams.

Bournemouth Rally Late to Hold West Ham in 2–2 Thriller

Bournemouth mounted a spirited second-half comeback to draw 2–2 with West Ham at a rainy Vitality Stadium.

The Hammers were ruthless early on, taking a 2–0 lead through Callum Wilson. His first goal came from an Areola long ball that he controlled before finishing brilliantly; the second was a poacher’s finish after a clever header from Jean-Clair Todibo.

West Ham were efficient, scoring twice from a slim first-half xG of 0.38, while Bournemouth struggled to threaten Petrovic’s goal.

But the second half belonged entirely to Andoni Iraola’s side. Marcus Tavernier smashed home a 69th-minute penalty to give Bournemouth life. Substitute Enes Ünal then equalized in the 81st minute with an elegant chip after a clever disguised pass from Marcos Senesi.

West Ham were rescued late on by goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, who made several superb saves to deny Adli, Kroupi, Tavernier, and Ünal.
