Fiorentina and Juventus played out a 1–1 draw in a tense Serie A meeting, with both sides producing brilliant long-range goals in an otherwise cautious contest.

Fiorentina and Juventus settled for a 1–1 draw at the Stadio Artemio Franchi after a night that offered moments of brilliance amid long spells of cagey midfield battles.

The early stages were quiet, but the match burst into life in the 25th minute when Moise Kean nearly gave Fiorentina the lead. Driving in from the right, the striker unleashed an 18-yard strike that thundered off the underside of the crossbar with Di Gregorio beaten. Minutes later, Rolando Mandragora went close from a 20-yard free-kick, bending his left-footed attempt just wide of the far post.

Just when the match seemed destined to remain goalless at the break, Juventus capitalized in stoppage time. Dusan Vlahović held off his marker and laid the ball into the path of Filip Kostić, who unleashed a superb 30-yard strike into the bottom-right corner to make it 1–0.

Fiorentina responded instantly after the restart. Kean nodded down a pass into the stride of Mandragora, who this time found the top-right corner with a stunning 30-yard effort a moment that lifted the stadium and brought the match level at 1–1.

Both sides then had chances to win it. Kean’s low shot from 20 yards forced Di Gregorio into a sharp save, before McKennie saw a close-range header tipped over by David De Gea. Juventus substitute Conceição also created danger late on, beating his man on the right and picking out McKennie once more, only for the midfielder’s header to be clawed away.

The draw keeps Juventus in sixth place, while Fiorentina climb to 19th as they continue to search for their first league win.

Juventus face Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League next before hosting Cagliari, while Fiorentina prepare for AEK Athens in the Conference League ahead of a league trip to Atalanta.

In another match, Cagliari and Genoa produced one of Serie A’s most chaotic matches of the weekend, finishing 3–3 after a wild contest filled with momentum swings and decisive moments at both ends.

Genoa struck first in the 18th minute when Lorenzo Colombo fed Vitinha, who found space in the box and slotted calmly into the bottom-left corner. Cagliari equalized from a corner in the 33rd minute as Marco Palestra’s delivery picked out Gennaro Borrelli, who powered in a close-range header.

But Genoa hit back quickly. Just eight minutes later, Morten Thorsby crossed to Leo Ostigård, who finished from the center of the box to restore the visitors’ advantage at 2–1. Cagliari, however, refused to fold. Deep into stoppage time, Alessandro Deiola set up Sebastiano Esposito inside the box, and he lashed a clinical right-footed strike into the top-left corner to bring the score to 2–2 at halftime.

The second period started just as energetically. In the 60th minute, Gabriele Zappa delivered a precise cross into the six-yard area, and Borrelli rose again to nod home his second of the match, putting Cagliari ahead 3–2.

But the drama was far from over. Genoa found a lifeline in the 83rd minute when Aaron Martín curled a sensational free-kick into the top-left corner to make it 3–3. Moments later, Genoa were reduced to ten men as Brooke Norton-Cuffy received a second yellow for a reckless challenge.

Cagliari pushed for a winner against the ten men, but time ran out as the match ended level.

and finally Bologna earned a deserved 3–0 victory over Udinese at Bluenergy Stadium, showing composure, control, and clinical finishing after a tense first half.

The opening 45 minutes saw few clear chances, though Bologna had a golden opportunity to go ahead when Riccardo Orsolini stepped up to take a penalty in the 41st minute. His low effort toward the bottom-left corner was brilliantly saved by Maduka Okoye, keeping the match goalless at halftime.

But Bologna returned from the break with renewed purpose. Just nine minutes into the second half, Orsolini sparked a quick counterattack, squaring the ball to Tommaso Pobega, who finished calmly into the bottom-left corner to put the visitors ahead 1–0.

Pobega struck again in the 59th minute, reacting quickly to a loose ball inside the box and firing home from close range to double Bologna’s advantage.

Udinese attempted to respond, but struggled to break down Bologna’s disciplined structure. Their hopes faded completely in stoppage time when Federico Bernardeschi pounced inside the box, guiding a left-footed finish into the center of the goal to seal a 3–0 win.

Bologna’s organized play and finishing quality proved the difference, as they continue their strong league form. Udinese, meanwhile, are left searching for answers after another frustrating home performance.
