Paris Saint-Germain returned to the top of Ligue 1 with a composed 3–0 win away to Brest. Paris Saint-Germain secured a comfortable 3–0 victory over Brest at the Stade Francis-Le Ble to reclaim top spot in Ligue 1. Although the match lacked high tempo at times, the champions took their chances with precision.

Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a superb volley into the far corner after a perfectly weighted pass from Vitinha. The Moroccan right-back doubled his tally ten minutes later, blasting home from close range following neat work by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Brest had a chance to pull one back early in the second half when a handball decision went their way after a lengthy VAR review, but Romain Del Castillo slipped during his run-up and sent his penalty over the bar. PSG continued to control proceedings and capped the performance in stoppage time when Warren Zaire-Emery’s through ball released Désiré Doué, who calmly finished past the keeper to make it 3–0.

The result puts PSG back on top of the table, while Brest will rue missed opportunities in front of their home fans.
