Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has signed a new long-term contract with the club, strengthening his commitment to the Reds after establishing himself as a key figure under head coach Arne Slot.

While Liverpool did not officially disclose the length of the agreement, multiple reports indicate that the Dutch international has signed a six-year extension that will keep him at Anfield until the end of the 2031-32 season.

Gravenberch joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in September 2023 and has steadily grown into an important player within the squad. Since arriving on Merseyside, the midfielder has made 123 appearances across all competitions and has become one of the most consistent performers in Slot's system.

This season, the 22-year-old has contributed four goals and three assists, while also making a major impact defensively. No Liverpool player has recorded more tackles than Gravenberch's 45 this season, while his 37 interceptions highlight his growing influence in midfield.

Speaking to Liverpool's official website after signing the new deal, the midfielder expressed his excitement at committing his future to the club.

Gravenberch said he felt extremely proud to extend his stay at such a big club and was delighted to remain part of the Liverpool project for many more years.

He also revealed that the trust shown by both the club and manager played a major role in his decision to sign the new contract.

The Dutch international noted that he immediately felt the belief from the club and coaching staff, making the decision to continue his journey at Liverpool an easy one.

Looking ahead, Gravenberch made it clear that his ambitions remain focused on winning more silverware with the Reds.

He explained that in the short term his aim is to help Liverpool finish the current season as strongly as possible, while in the long term he hopes to win many more trophies with the club.

The midfielder also paid tribute to the Liverpool supporters, acknowledging the role they have played in the team's success.

Gravenberch said he is grateful for the fans and believes the team must continue working hard to reward their support with more trophies in the future.

Since joining Liverpool, the midfielder has already enjoyed notable success, helping the club lift the Premier League title and the EFL Cup. The Reds are also still competing strongly this season, having reached the FA Cup quarter-finals and the Champions League round of 16.

The contract extension signals Liverpool's long-term confidence in Gravenberch, who continues to develop into one of the club's most important midfield players.
