Real Madrid and Manchester City played out an electrifying 3-3 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Tuesday night, marking one of the most thrilling encounters in recent UEFA Champions League memory.

City initially took the lead 1-0, then 3-2, but both teams will enter next week's quarter-final second leg in Manchester on level terms.

Madrid endured a nightmare start, conceding just 108 seconds into the game when Bernardo Silva's shot from a free-kick caught Andriy Lunin off guard, with the keeper anticipating a cross.

However, a swift response saw the Spanish side take the lead within the first fifteen minutes.

Madrid's equalizer came from a Ruben Dias own goal, as the Portuguese defender inadvertently redirected an Eduardo Camavinga shot past Stefan Ortega.

Rodrygo then slid a low shot between Ortega's legs to put Madrid ahead 2-1, courtesy of an assist from Vinicius Junior.

Phil Foden equalized for City with a magnificent curling effort from 22 yards out midway through the second half.

City regained the lead on 71 minutes with another stunning goal from outside the penalty area, this time courtesy of Josko Gvardiol.

However, Federico Valverde arguably netted the goal of the night with a delightful volley eight minutes later, assisted once again by Vinicius.
