Cape Verde striker Vozinha will now turn his attention to playing at Chilean giants Colo Colo as he has emerged as one of the highlights of his nation's incredible World Cup campaign so far.

The 40-year-old will be heading to Chile in the near coming days to finalise the process of the move, revealed Colo Colo president Anibal Mosa.

Vozinha is scheduled to soon become a Colo Colo player. He will reach Chile in the following days for medical examinations and then he will be presented here at the Monumental Stadium," said Mosa ahead of a League match on Friday evening.

Cape Verde goalkeeper Hampers was a major reason for the island's stellar campaign to this championship given the number of important saves he made in a group stage affair with Spain which went scoreless.

He was also significant in the knockout stages where Cape Verde took Argentina to extra time before going down against the eventual finalists by a score of 3-2.

Portuguese second tier team Chaves' Josimar Jose Evora Dias is heading to Colo Colo.

He has had an interesting career, and has signed his first professional contract at 26 years of age. Since then, he has enjoyed playing in Cyprus, Slovakia, Moldova, Angola and Portugal.

The goalkeeper "yesterday" impressed Colo Colo enough to go so far as to make the deal, said Mosa.

That's why we're signing him, he's in a great form,” he said.

Vozinha has also become extremely popular in front of the home fans since the World Cup in Cape Verde.

Case reports that the amount of fans on his Instagram page jumped almost 500,000 to nearly 30 million upon receiving support from Brazilian influencer Casemiro.

He will play for another domestic hero, on a Colo Colo side. Chilean 34-time champions have a wide lead in the table at half-time of this year's season.
